Accommodation

Gairal FRH offers simple yet comfortable stays with clean, spacious, and well-ventilated rooms.
Attached bathrooms come with western fittings and solar-heated hot water.
No electricity is available except for 2 hours of solar lights in the evening.
To preserve nature, no AC, fans, or TVs are provided. A canteen offers homely meals and snacks.

Dining Facility

Run by GMVN, the canteen serves a limited vegetarian menu with parathas, dal, rice, and roti. Guests can dine indoors or enjoy meals on the open lawn overlooking the Ramganga river and forest. Non-vegetarian food and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

How to Book

• Bookings open 45 days in advance for Indians.
• Foreign travellers can book 90 days in advance.
• Passport ID is mandatory for foreigners.

Canteen & Food

The canteen seats 10–15 people comfortably. Breakfast options include tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, and parathas. Lunch and dinner include one vegetable dish, dal, rice, and roti. Snacks like noodles and omelettes are also available at reasonable prices.

Best Time to Visit

Gairal Rest House remains open from November 15 to June 15, offering the best time to witness wildlife and nature.
