Garjiya Zone is one of Corbett’s most accessible areas, combining scenic river stretches, forest drives, and proximity to the famous Garjiya Devi Temple, making it ideal for first-time visitors, families, and travellers with limited time who still want an authentic safari experience.

Garjiya Zone– located on the Northern periphery of Corbett Tiger Reserve was carved out of the inaccessible area of the Bijrani zone. Dedicated to the Goddess Garjiya – this zone is extremely undulating consisting of Sal trees & mixed Deciduous forest species along with the grasslands, with small perennial streams becoming the water source for animals. The Jeep Safaris here are a driving adventure – being in the periphery area the chances of sighting are Leopard are immense. The grassland areas always offer the opportunity to see Deer, Wild Boar, Elephants besides the ever present Birdlife. Every bend on the road in any zone of Corbett has a different setting and also tells a different story ! Safaris are enjoyed if you have an open mind and interested in learning about new facts of Nature that your Guide and Drivers point out.
